Dr. Tarrasch in Italy: Turin, Genoa

Dr. Siegbert Tarrasch continues his Italian tour, with stops in recent days at Turin and Genoa. In the former city on the 28th of February the German Master faced 17 opponents simultaneously at the Società Scacchistica Torinese, winning twelve games and drawing two, while suffering defeats against Signori Cavalleri, Carta-Satta, and Bottarlini. From there the Doctor traveled to Genoa, where on the first day of March he took on 20 simultaneous opponents and emerged undefeated, yielding only two draws. The following day found Dr. Tarrasch in action once again, as he conducted two games simultaneously against consulting pairs of players, winning one and drawing the other. It is the score of the latter contest, vs. Signori Bianchetti and Solari, that we have received from Italy, and that we reproduce below.
